Slate Brands Visual Identity
Visual update of the brand identity for Slate Brands, is a digitally native beauty brand incubator. As an incubator working to build other brands, Slate Brands’s visual identity needed to be both the pinnacle of a beautiful, strong visual identity, while also being able to step back at moments to let the brands created under its guidance and support shine.
The new visual identity features an updated elegant, airy, legible logotype in a light weight of Sprig Sans. The brand also features a custom SB monogram symbol, that can be used as a kind of quality-assurance stamp on all Slate Brands produced goods. The brand’s robust typographic system uses the full potential of Sprig Sans Variable. The color palette is based on slated grays and balanced with jewel tones.
